Glór Uachtar Tíre (GUT), is delighted to have acquired a new premises at 29 Main Street / 2-4 Castle Avenue, Castlewellan! The building will soon be a hub of Irish language activity, providing classes, events and opportunities for young people and adults alike.
GUT is currently seeking funds from businesses to refurbish the building as part of a crowdfunding campaign called ‘The Big Give Christmas Challenge’. GUT is currently approaching businesses to pledge a donation before the campaign deadline: 5pm, 30th August 2024. Pledges from businesses will act as a matching pot for donations from the general public when the campaign goes live in December. Your donation would make a huge difference – in effect, doubling donations from the general public! Minimum pledges from businesses for this campaign is £100.
Businesses that support the campaign will be included on the Centre’s Gnó Matters [Business Matters] Wall where their name and logo will be displayed, if desired. Additionally, 2 members of the business, if they wish, will be able to avail of a year of Irish classes provided by GUT free of charge.
To make a pledge, please fill in the brief Pledge Form here.
GUT would like to thank you in advance for your generosity and goodwill. Go raibh míle maith agaibh!
